Privacy Policy
In plain terms. This page sets out how Trackhound handles your data: what we hold, what we don't do with it, and the rights you have. Nothing here is a placeholder.
Legal basis
Trackhound Limited is a UK company. We operate under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Where the EU GDPR applies to the processing of EU residents' personal data, we comply with that too.
What data we hold
- Account data: email address and password (hashed), linked to your organisation. Authentication runs on AWS Cognito.
- Sales data: aggregate snapshots (totals, not individual transactions). Customer email addresses or phone numbers are hashed in memory and never stored in plain text.
- External signals: weather, transport disruption, and press headline data, per venue, per day. Article bodies are never stored.
- Query and conversation logs: text of queries you submit and responses received. These are per-user and are never shared between organisations.
What we don't do
We do not sell data to third parties. We do not profile individual ticket buyers. We do not use your data to train AI models beyond the analytics and forecasting functions described in our transparency page.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. You may request a copy of the data we hold about you or ask us to delete your account at any time.
